Oil Spill Response
We offer a 24 hour round the clock emergency oil response team ready to deploy and respond in the case of an oil spill. Our team is certified in oil spill response IMO level 1 & 2. They are equipped with transfer. We offer oil pollution control agreements for:
- Road tankers
- Bunken vessel
- Port facilities
CASSAR MARINE GROUP is authorized by local authority transport MALTA as an on-call oil response service provider.
Film Services
The services provided to the film industry are not limited to sea crafts, construction or modification of vessels only.
Cassar Ship Repair Ltd. offers hiring services of land and sea cranes, generators, pumps, winches as well as different sizes of barges, pontoons, ribs and tugs.

Cassar Ship Repair Ltd. has been established since 1967 and is equipped to handle all kinds of ship and offshore repair work on vessels both inside and outside harbour.
Our company offers services on 24 hours, 7 days a week basis all year round.
Our work shops are equipped with modern machinery including:
- Lathes
- Vertical milling machines
- Steel shaping machinery
- Profile cutting machine
- Various wedding equipment
On site and offshore work is carried out using our own equipment including:
- Floating dock
- Self propelled crane barge
- Tug boats and Workboats
- Self propelled crane and dumb barges and pontoons
- Supply vessels
- Mobile Cranes
- Fenders
- Compressors and Generators
We have facilities to lift 25 ton boats for repair work and storage in our Yard.
We are equipped to handle fires and salvage work.
We provide oil spill recovery and clean up services using our equipment which includes:
- Skimmers
- Oil containment booms
- Oil absorbing pads and chemicals
- Oil storage tanks
